Moderna has submitted documents for emergency approval by relevant institutions in the United States and Europe, so that its Covid vaccine can be recommended for widespread use.

Pfizer has already applied for approval of its vaccine in the United States.

Currently, there are three major vaccines that have passed the tests. However, each has some advantages and disadvantages, the big differences in terms of storage conditions, efficiency and prices.

The AstraZeneca vaccine is cheaper: £ 3 / dose, compared to £ 15 for the Pfizer vaccine and £ 25 for Moderna.

However, the effectiveness is also different: the AstraZeneca vaccine has a rate of 62-90%, while Moderna and Pfizer have a rate above 95%.
