He winks at the Hollywood fence in Washington. If the film's ridiculous prizes are awarded at the end of February, US President Trump and his First Lady will have the best chance of winning a prize.

US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania have this year's chance for the "Golden Raspberry" mockery prize. The two were nominated in the "Worst Leading Actor" and "Worst Supporting Actress" categories.

As is known, the "Raspberries" as a counterpart to the prestigious Oscar ceremony are a cinematic award, the nominations also refer to a real cinematic performance of the two – in the semi-documentary strip of Michael Moore "Fahrenheit 11/9". The director takes care of his usual polarizing way with the rise of Trump and the consequences of his election victory for the United States.

But it was not enough "the honor" for the president of the United States: Trump was also nominated for his role in the political documentary "Death Of A Nation" for a "Razzie".

Awarded before the Oscars

Trump won the mocking trophy in 1991 for his appearance in "Ghosts Can not Do It". The film was a bizarre mix of romance, chill, fantasy and comedy – and it turned out to be a big flop. Trump was a real estate entrepreneur at the time and he interpreted himself in the film.

The Golden Raspberry will be awarded on February 23rd. The next day, the Oscars are held in Los Angeles. With her, other films and actors have great chances of winning a prize. For example, the "A Star Is Born" strip with its main actors Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga is traded high. Also the "Green Book" drama with Viggo Mortensen is considered promising, as is the "Bohemian Rhapsody" film in the Queen band with Rami Malek in the role of singer Freddie Mercury.
