The president of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen, said on Friday that “perhaps” as early as December, citizens of the European Union (EU) can start vaccinating themselves against the coronavirus, where the pandemic continues with a record number of infections. and dead, despite movement restrictions to stop it.

The head of the Commission indicated that the EU will have around 2 billion doses of different vaccines, more than is needed to immunize the community population.
