In recent days, a video of a girl trying to communicate with her deaf-mute father has moved thousands of users from different social networks. The event, which was recorded by the minor's grandmother, took place in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Mexico.
In the recording, Sofia, a year and seven months, moves her hands in different ways, simulating sign language.
Guadalupe Padilla, the woman who recorded the video, explained on Facebook the girl is aware of having to make signs to communicate with her father and imitates the signs she saw that they use to talk to him and his mother, which is also deaf and dumb.
"If he hears and talks, he understands that he must report to his parents, who knows what he will say to them, only she moves her hands, but in reality she does not say anything in particular," Padilla said in the social network.
According to her grandmother, the child began to imitate the signs for 10 months. He already says a few words in Spanish like "mom" and "dad" because The aim is to teach the two languages at the same time.
The video was reproduced over 57 thousand times and was shared by about 45,000 Facebook users, who were moved by the girl's intelligence.
