A Venezuelan, a ticket collector in a “combi” – public transport – died Thursday morning 26-N in the midst of an argument with another colleague over the passenger dispute in Santa Clara, Ate Vitarte, district of Lima, Peru.

The press of that country reports that the other would have pulled the Venezuelan until he lost his stability and was hit and dragged, for about 20 meters, by his own work unit.

According to witnesses told to El Popular, both combi were at the entrance of Huachipa, off the Central Highway, in front of the Virgen de Cocharcas urbanization, when the young Venezuelan and the other collector began to quarrel.

The Venezuelan has been identified as Jhon Alexander Salazar Benavidez. They nicknamed him “Chamito” and he was 22 years old.

Street vendors, the El Popular website says, indicated that the incident occurred in the presence of motorized police. “All this happened in front of a police. We yelled at him to go after the van that killed “Chamito” and he ignored us. That’s why the combi and the killers escaped. The young man was a hard worker ”.
