Ultra Air SAS is the name of the new airline applying for permission to operate in Colombia.

Next Thursday, November 26th Civil aeronautics, the body responsible for aviation regulation and control in Colombia, will hold a public hearing to announce whether or not it authorizes the creation of the airline.
If you get an affirmative answer, Ultra Air SAS would be established as a “regular air transport of passengers, mail and freight”.

According to what was reported by ‘W Radio’, a medium who had access to an Aerocivil document on the request to create the airline, would have the municipality of Rionegro, in Antioquia, as an operational base.
Further, Authorization is required to cover 29 domestic and 15 international routes.

“The air transport service would be provided by the CEO of the Airbus A320 and the Boeing B737 MAX 8,” reads the document shared by the station.
