Donald Trump and his Republican Party have raised more than $ 200 million in donations in the month since they lost the presidential election.
The amount of 207.5 million dollars (about 171 million euros) went to organizations such as “Trump Victory” and “Save America” (Save America), as the campaign team of Trump and the Republican Party on the night announced on Friday.
Trump refuses to acknowledge his defeat in the November 3 presidential election and sends mass appeals for donations to his supporters, including via email. The money should, among other things, finance the legal battle against the election result, it is said.
Trump claims he was stripped of his election victory due to massive election fraud in favor of victorious challenger Joe Biden. His lawyers have so far failed in more than three dozen court cases. Some judges have made it explicitly clear that they have not seen any convincing evidence for the allegations.
