United States President Donald Trump said on Friday 6-N that his Democratic rival, Joe Biden, “shouldn’t declare himself the winner” when media projections indicate this, because his campaign’s demands on the outcome of le elections “have just begun”.

“Joe Biden shouldn’t falsely claim that he won the presidency. I too could make that claim. The lawsuit has just begun!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

The president said this despite himself falsely claiming to have won the vote, which he did on election night.

Trump’s tweet came after Biden’s plans to give a prime-time speech to the nation on Friday came to light, on a day he managed to wrest the president’s lead in key states of Pennsylvania and Georgia.

However, as the afternoon went by, it seemed more unlikely the media would project a win for Biden this Friday given the limited numbers in Pennsylvania and other states.

A victory in Pennsylvania would allow Biden to overcome the barrier of 270 Electoral College delegates who are required to secure the White House: if imposed in Pennsylvania it would already reach 284 or 273 depending on whether or not Arizona is counted, according to the projections of the main media.

The Trump campaign has filed legal action to challenge control in Pennsylvania, Nevada, Michigan and Georgia, although in the latter two territories the courts have denied their claims; while in Wisconsin, the president’s team called for a recount.

Georgian authorities announced this Friday that there will be a recount in the state due to the rigidity of the result, where no definitive winner is expected to be known until at least the end of this month.
