Shortly after a wave of redundancies at Ethenum ConsenSys, TRON founder Justin Sun offered to help all Ethereum and EOS developers transfer their projects to TRON. The day before, the BitGuild gaming platform had already done just that.
While in the current bear market some cryptography projects have to tighten their belts, TRON's coffers still seem full. Justin Sun, founder and CEO of the TRON Foundation, today announced the creation of a fund for the developers Ethereum and EOS to save them from the "collapse of their platform". However, recipients of this assistance must transfer their decentralized applications (dApps) to the TRON platform.
Layoffs in the cryptic industry on the rise
Apparently, Sun had this idea after hearing about layoffs at ConsenSys. The New York company, which is responsible for the development of Ethereum, announced Thursday that it will separate itself from 13% of its employees. With a workforce of 1,200, this results in 156 redundancies.
Last month, Exchange Coinbase fired 15 employees. At the Kraken competitor, 57 employees had to leave work in September.
At EOS, however, there does not seem to be a lack of money yet for a long time. EOS New York, one of the 21 platform blockers, rejected Justin Sun's offer. There are still billions of venture capitalists available for EOS projects.
The first game announces the transition from Ethereum to TRON
BitGuild had already announced Thursday that he would move his social video game Bitizen from Ethereum to TRON, as in a race to obedience. The game allows you to customize an avatar and explore the virtual city of Bitropolis.
As a justification for this step, BitGuild wrote today that the scale difficulties of Ethereum have led to "congestion problems, long waiting times, high gas charges and poor stability", alienating many users of dApp.
Because of the high speed, low rates and easier development and downsizing of dApp, now they want to become the "first big game in the TRON network". For the transition phase, Bitizen was temporarily removed from the network.
