The BCH meetup in Venezuela has increased to 349 registered participants and the group coordinator Lizbeth Alvioz has recently detailed that the dedicated members are doing their utmost to accelerate adoption in the area.

Encourage true adoption
The Venezuelan economy continued to deteriorate with the increase in hyperinflation, causing millions of citizens to flee into the country. Meanwhile, Nicolás Maduro, the man accused of many financial problems in the country, is about to take office for another six years. Maduro also created a seemingly blockchain currency, the petro, presumably backed by oil reserves. However, despite the launch of petro, many advocates of cryptocurrency believe that true digital currencies without permission can help Venezuelans escape the economic quagmire. Since 2014, many people have been trying to get cryptocurrencies like bitcoin cores (BTCs) and dashes to gain traction in the region. In addition, many cryptography advocates have even attempted to extend the use of cash bitcoins in Venezuela due to the incredible decentralized currency transaction rates. This immensely strengthened the Bitcoin Cash Venezuela meetup and the group has raised about 349 members to date.
One of these members is Lizbeth Alvioz who recently wrote an interesting post on the Honest.cash platform regarding the adoption of the digital currency. The post explained that, in his opinion, the influx of cryptographic buyers portrayed in the titles every week does not represent a true adoption in the country. Alviaz says that most of these coins are traded speculatively in trading and at the end of the day these traders only want profits in dollars or bolivars.

The BCH meetup member pointed out that at least members of the dash community did a "good job" by encouraging Venezuelans to use cryptocurrencies as a payment method. Leading members of the BCH rally are eagerly supporting events sponsored by companies that support BCH to accelerate educational projects, said Alvioz.
The Venezuelan supporter of BCH also added:
People and businesses are encouraged to receive BCH as a form of payment because it is a true adoption.

Economic freedom without permission
Alviaz also noted that so far several Venezuelan ambassadors have dedicated time and resources to the spread of adoption in areas such as Nueva Esparta, Cumana, Mérida, Acarigua, Barquisimeto, Anzoátegui and Valencia. In addition, Alvioz and his friends are encouraging more and more people to join the BCH Venezuela team. Alvioz detailed she and other Venezuelan crew members can be reached on various forum is social media networks.
"We are at the start of a new digital payment system, where we are real owners of our money, where there are no intermediaries or bankers who tell us how much money we can withdraw from our bank accounts [as is the case in Venezuela], where we can … send and receive money from anywhere in the world with almost instant transactions and very low commissions, "concluded Alvioz.
