The National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) announced on November 2 the resumption of flights to and from the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Turkey and Iran, so that the rest of the air restrictions adopted by the pandemic will remain in effect in principle to an extra month.
The US Embassy in Caracas, which operates only virtually, has taken advantage of this “limited” offer of flights to ask US citizens to leave Venezuela “as soon as possible” and return to the North American country or contact a diplomatic representation in the country of destination.
The Embassy recalled that the land border with Colombia remains closed and warned that crossing it illegally it could mean anything from fines and arrests to increased security risks, which will also include the possibility of kidnapping.
The resumption of Venezuelan flights to and from four countries
