Alarms rang more than 24 hours ago, when Yulen, a two-year-old boy, disappeared near Malaga, Spain.
A 100-meter-deep well was the first site marked by relatives who still hoped the little child had lost to another place. The confirmation of what was most feared came with the images, captured inside the well, which showed the bag of sweets that Yulen had when not seen. Now, there are three open hypotheses to get you out of the place.
Besides the depth, the short diameter of the hole where the boy fell, Sunday, is hindering the operations of the Spanish authorities. They are between 20 and 25 centimeters, which makes it almost impossible to recover any option. The Spanish Guardia Civil has bet on three different possibilities to reach the place where Yulen is located.
The first option it passes by making a parallel well, with the same depth and a meter and a half wide, explains the newspaper "El País". In order for this operation to be feasible, it is important to cover the existing well to prevent landslides.
The excavation of the slope until you reach the place where the authorities believe that the boy is the second hypothesis. the third possibility of extracting the earth that was found in the cavity, about 73 meters deep.
For the site, 112 service elements were highlighted, the Provincial Consortium of Fire Brigade, Civil Protection, Alpine Rescue and Intervention Team (EREIM) of Alora and Granada, submarineurs and firefighters of Malaga. A crowd that transformed Totálan, the small town about 10 kilometers from Malaga, in central Spain.
Despite the difficulties, the authorities believe it is still possible to find the child alive. "If we did not believe it was alive, we would not be exploring all these options," he said, quoted by "El País", source of the Guardia Civil.
Albacete firefighters are ready to help
The case is focusing the attention of almost the entire country and Albacete firefighters have already offered to help save the boy. In social networks they showed the case of a similar incident.
In 2015, a man fell into a well 60 meters deep. Shortly thereafter, the authorities were able to confirm the death of the man thanks to the use of thermal chambers, similar to those used in the case of Malaga, and this helped confirm that Yulen had fallen into the well.
Fourteen hours after the call to 112, Albacete firefighters managed to arrest the man for a hand. The body was hoisted in less than an hour.
