The Sandulache brothers originated in Barlad, in the Vaslui county. They terrified, humiliated and beat up several women, and then forced them to have sex with men.
They forced their victims to eat euro banknotes, threatened them with death, raped them and forced them to abort in Romania, where they were under surveillance, according to timpanoua.ro.
The two were sentenced by a court in Spain to 55, respectively to 53 years in prison. In addition, the two men are forced to pay substantial fines and hundreds of thousands of euros for some of their victims.
