With the help of his son and two other Romanians, he stole money and assets worth over £ 25 million, or over € 30 million. According to the Isleworth Crown Court, Maria Master was arrested at the airport while wearing a pair of earrings stolen by Tamara Ecclestone. The magistrates found that Maria Meşter denied being part of the gang of thieves and asked for a cigarette several times during interrogation.

British prosecutor Paul Jarvis pointed out the difficulty of the action, as gang members had to climb several fences and cross two other properties, so the risk they were exposed to was significant. Between the two thefts, the four Romanians also broke into the family residence of Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, the late owner of the Leicester football team, from where they stole items worth a million pounds.
