Ua 12-year-old girl died after the snow castle where she joked that she had fallen this Sunday, according to Newsweek. The incident happened near a church in the suburbs of Chicago.
The girl played in the snow castle with a friend of nine. The two girls had left the church where their families attended a religious service to play with snow. About an hour later, his family left the church and found them in the snow.
The twelve year old died of a heart attack after the collapse of the snow-covered castle. The nine-year-old girl was transported to the hospital because she suffered from hypothermia.
Temperatures in Chicago fell to -12 degrees Celsius on Saturday night and fell from 10 to 22 inches of snow.
