The US Department of Defense has announced that a female aviator deployed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has died following an accident.
“On November 27, Captain Kellian Leli of the city of Parlin, New Jersey, died in an accident with a non-combat vehicle at Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates,” the Defense Ministry said.
In the statement, it was claimed that Captain Leli served as part of Operation Freedom Watch at the UAE Air Base and the incident of death occurred as a result of a non-war automobile accident.
The ministry statement also included information that the 30-year-old female soldier was recently assigned to the 60th Health Operations Squadron at Travis Air Base in California.
