A teenager was pinned to the ground by officers after she was forcibly removed from a home with her mother during the violent protests in Los Angeles.
On Wednesday night, housing rights activists confronted officers from the California Highway patrol in the El Serena area, where the empty houses owned by Caltrans were occupied by squatters.
Video footage circulating on Twitter shows the teenager being forcibly taken from a property by two agents.
Protesters can be heard shouting at the officers, calling them “bad guys”.

The girl is nailed to the ground and put in handcuffs before being taken to a police vehicle.

The CHP went door-to-door last night to remove people illegally occupying homes along Sheffield Avenue.
About 100 officers responded to the neighborhood, according to a report in ABC 7.

Protesters cited the government stay order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus as one of the reasons for stopping the evictions.
Caltrans, or the California Department of Transportation, bought the homes with plans to demolish them to make way for Highway 710, but plans stalled in 2018.
The activist group Reclaiming Our Homes began illegally occupying the houses owned by Caltrans in the area in March.
