In the UK, car delivery company employee Simon Cooper was fined for opening the speed limit during delivery. Cooper was reported to have passed the speed limit of 70 on the M4 motorway in South Gloucestershire at 856 mph (around 1377 km) on May 26.
“This is impossible. I’m confused,” said Cooper, who was stunned by the penalty for allegedly exceeding the speed limit at 856 mph.

Speaking to the press, Cooper said: “I thought it was a joke. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw 856 mph. “I don’t think they have made such a fast vehicle yet.”
In a statement following the accident, police announced that Cooper exceeded the speed limit of 85 mph and that the figure was added too much due to a technical error. Cooper was fined for breaking the 70mph speed limit by 85mph.
