The Chinese ambassador Hong Liang said at the gala that last year, the global strategic cooperation between China and Myanmar has developed into a good trend with greater cooperation and exchanges at all levels, achieving a positive development in the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and China-Myanmar Economic Corridor.
He said that the gathering shared the joys of celebrating the spring festival, blessing the peoples of the two countries for the occasion.
China always appreciates the "paukphaw" friendship, hoping that Myanmar will enjoy a prosperous and peaceful economy with more cooperation launches to bring wealth to the two countries and to the two peoples, said Ling Li, deputy Director-General of the External Promotion Office of the Information Office of the State Council of China.
Ling said the Chinese side would like to build the Chinese-Burmese community of a common destiny and cooperate with Myanmar in building the China-Myanmar economic corridor in the Belt and Road initiative.
The Yunnan province, which links Myanmar geographically, culturally and commercially, is an important province that is part of the China-Myanmar economic corridor and will further push cooperation in the sectors of economy and commerce, culture, tourism Agriculture, education, health and media According to the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, said Zhao Jin, head of the advertising department of the Yunnan provincial committee of the Chinese Communist Party.

The Spring Festival Gala and the activities of the China-Myanmar Cultural Week present different types of exhibitions and artistic performances, aimed at deepening the traditional friendship between China and Myanmar and the strengthening of cultural exchanges.
During the cultural week, photographic exhibitions on China's poverty eradication efforts were also launched in the three main cities of Myanmar, Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw and Mandalay.
