Two heavy Russian fighter fighters clashed during a training flight in the Far East of the country. This was confirmed by the Ministry of Defense in Moscow, as reported by the Tass agency.
One of the Sukhoi Su-34 aircraft crashed into the sea between the island of Sakhalin and the mainland. The crew of two men would press the ejection seat. Rescuers have looked for the pilot. According to unconfirmed reports, the second Su-34 returned to Komsomolsk-on-Amur despite damage to the Churbe air base.
The Su-34 Bomber developed by the Soviets serves to attack land targets far beyond enemy lines. Russian aeronautics also use the aircraft in Syria.
