“Saif Al-Arab” is joint military training for 6 Arab countries in Egypt

Special forces and units of the armies of 6 Arab countries, “Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Bahrain and Sudan”, participated in the activities of the joint military training “Saif Al-Arab” hosted by Cairo on the ground of the base military “Muhammad Naguib” in the north of the country.
Joint training activities will continue from its launch from November 17 to November 26, in the combat training camps of the Muhammad Najeeb military base and in the air and sea training areas in the northern military zone.
According to Al-Ittihad sources, the early stages of the training will include holding a coordination conference between the forces of participating countries to unify concepts and transfer training experiences to Arab forces, as well as align all forces participating in the training. in addition to giving many theoretical and practical lessons to implement all the planned training tasks to obtain the maximum possible benefit for the forces. According to sources who spoke with Al-Ittihad, the training is of great importance as it brings together 6 Arab countries on land special forces operations, the implementation of various sea and air launches, free jumping, protection of regional waters and the management of joint operations using real ammunition, the modern laser system.
The sources indicated that at the conclusion of the activities the chiefs of staff of the participating countries and some important Arab personalities will be present in Egypt, underlining that it is a similar version of the previous joint training “Arab Shield” which took place last November with the participation the Jordanian Armed Forces, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and a state.
