AThis week, Russian special forces rescued a seven-year-old boy who was kidnapped two months ago by an alleged man pedophile in a town east of Moscow.
Pictures of the operation have now been released by authorities and show elements of the Russian special forces cutting a metal door to free the child, who was rescued without injuries.
The operation took place after Interpol received a warning from the US authorities that a user of the “dark web” was related to the kidnapping of the boy.
According to Sky News, police from several countries have provided information to help Russian authorities locate the suspect and the child.
The alleged pedophile is 26 years old and originally from Makarikh, 298 km from Moscow.
The child had been missing since 28 September. Now it is known that she was kidnapped on her way home from school.
The whole family is now receiving psychological support due to the traumatic experience.
