In the statement by the Russian Defense Ministry, it was announced that 1777 asylum seekers have returned from Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh in the past 24 hours and that Russian peacekeepers have accompanied the refugees.
The ministry said: “The buses departing from Yerevan and carrying 1,777 people to Nagorno-Karabakh reached the main square in Khankendi. The movement of the convoy was accompanied by Russian peacekeepers and military police patrols.”
