Speaking at the Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington DC about Republican observers being kept too far from polling stations, Rudy Giuliani was caught in an awkward new situation at a press conference following one held in a Philadelphia suburb at a ‘ obscure landscaping company located between an adult shop and a crematorium.
The reporters present heard him give an example from the film “My Cousin Vinny” in which a false witness at a trial was exposed with poor eyesight.
“These people (election observers) were further away than Vinny’s cousin was a witness. They didn’t see anything,” Giuliani said, mimicking a Brooklyn accent.
Meanwhile the lawyer had begun to sweat and at a certain point people in the countryside could be heard on the microphones: “Giuliani’s hair is running down his cheeks”.
“I don’t know why you need to wake up, do your job and inform Americans, like it or not, about the things they need to know. It’s real. It’s nothing manufactured. Nobody here imagines fantastic things,” continued Giuliani.
