Republicans confront Donald Trump: “Someone will be killed”

“Someone Will Be Killed”: In an angry look, a Republican official casts heavy accusations against Donald Trump – due to the aftermath of his campaign against the election results.

It’s one of Donald Trump’s harshest scoldings since the election and comes from a party member. One Republican official, of all people, appeared angry and made serious allegations against the president of the United States: his actions led to numerous death threats against company officials, relatives and employees involved in the election.

Gabriel Sterling, who is in charge of the election process at the State Department of Georgia, showed up in front of cameras in Atlanta on Tuesday at noon (local time) and broadly berated Trump for not doing anything about the numerous threats his supporters made against the people involved in the elections.

“This has to stop!” Sterling said over and over during his four-minute emotional appearance. “Mr. President, you did not condemn these events and this language.”

Sterling expresses what others avoid

Towards the end of his brief appearance, Sterling expressed what many friends in the party are avoiding out of fear of Trump: “Mr. President,” he said, “it looks like you’ve probably lost the state of Georgia.”

Trump now faces his responsibility. “Stop inspiring people to provoke possible acts of violence. Otherwise someone will get hurt. Otherwise someone will be hit. Otherwise someone will be killed. ”Sterling himself is under police protection, he said.

Indeed, Trump recently raised the mood against election officials in scarce states and personally attacked them with violence, including Sterling’s superior, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. The president also shot himself this week at Arizona Governor Doug Ducey. This had certified the result in the state on Monday. Both governors, like Trump, are Republicans.

Death threats, sexual innuendo

Raffensperger reported receiving death threats. Sterling said Raffensperger’s wife was also receiving sexual threats on her cell phone.

Trump’s opponent Joe Biden narrowly won the election in Georgia. Trump had pushed for two recount. The first did not change the result, the result of the second is expected.

As in other states, Trump has been unable to provide any evidence of election fraud, but continues his campaign against election results – with the active help of his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani. Giuliani fails several times in court.

On Tuesday, otherwise loyal Attorney General William Barr contradicted the president. His prosecutors and investigators could not find any cases of large-scale election fraud, he told the AP news agency.

Contradiction from the apparatus

Earlier, Chris Krebs, head of an election security agency at the Department of National Security, said last week that the presidential election was the safest vote in a long time. As a result, Krebs was fired by Trump.

Official Sterling also referred to a Trump attorney’s testimony about cancer. Joe DiGenova had said on television that he had been shot for his statements. It wasn’t until after Sterling appeared that DiGenova spoke up and talked about making a joke.

Donald Trump has been asking his supporters for months not to vote by letter. Therefore (during the crown pandemic) far more Democrats than Republicans voted by mail, which turned the result in Biden’s favor.

If Trump reaches Arizona, those are valid votes; if Biden reaches into the other states, it’s a scam. 🤔
