Mike Pompeo, Secretary of State of the United States (USA), has invited Venezuelan security forces to defend the Constitution and the rights of the Venezuelans.
"The United States and the world are watching," he published in his Twittter account. He also condemned the arrest of Juan Guaidó, president of the Parliament and responsible for the Presidency of the Republic.
For his part, John Bolton, adviser to the government of Donald Trump, declared that the detention of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) in Guaidó was carried out by the "Cuban secret police".
This Sunday, Guaidó was arrested on the Caracas-La Guaira highway as he headed towards a town hall open in the state of Vargas.
We denounce the arbitrary detention of #NationalAssembly president I @jguaido from the head of the Venezuelan secret services Manuel Cristopher Figuera. We ask the security forces to support the constitution and the rights of the Venezuelan people. The United States and the world is watching.
