Patient registry at ATI. Over 9,000 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours

In the last 24 hours there have been 9,005 new cases of COVID-19, out of 36,271 tests performed. Another 171 Romanians have died after being infected with the coronavirus, while 1,226 COVID patients are hospitalized for intensive care.

To date, on November 26, 449,349 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed in Romania.
323,514 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests carried out at national level, compared to the last report, 9,005 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) have been recorded, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

The 14-day accumulated infection coefficient, reported per 1,000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Directorates of Public Health, at the level of the Municipality of Bucharest and the counties. Apart from the newly confirmed cases, following the re-examination of patients who were already positive, 1,338 people were positively reconfirmed.

To date, 10,712 people have died diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Between 25.11.2020 (10:00) – 26.11.2020 (10:00) 171 deaths were reported (105 men and 66 women), of patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeș, Arad, Bacău, Bistrița -Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Buzău, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Ialomița, Iașhova, Prahași, Seauceașeaș Vaslui, Vrancea and Bucharest.

Of these, 5 deaths were recorded in the age group 40-49, 22 deaths in the age group 50-59, 34 deaths in the age group 60-69, 57 deaths in the age group 70 -79 years and 53 deaths over the age of 80.

163 of the deaths recorded concerned some patients with comorbidities, 4 deceased patients did not have comorbidities and for 4 deceased patients no comorbidities have been reported so far.

In health care units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 13,248. Of these, 1,226 are hospitalized at ATI.

To date, 4,011,887 tests have been developed nationwide. Of these, 36,271 were performed in the past 24 hours, 22,829 based on case definition and medical protocol, and 13,442 on request.

Furthermore, from the latest information provided by GCS, the results of 620 tests processed before the last 24 hours and presented until November 26th were reported.

In Romania, 48,458 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in home isolation and 12,376 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 70,873 people are quarantined at home and there are 58 people in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 5,095 calls were registered to the unique emergency numbers 112 and 716 of the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), mainly open to inform citizens.

Following the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on 25 November this year, 6,652 penalties for minor crimes, equal to 1,090,675 lei.

Furthermore, yesterday 4 crimes against the fight against diseases were ascertained through the competent structures of the Police, an act provided for and punished by art. 352 criminal code.

“We remind citizens that the Ministry of the Interior has made operational, starting from 04.07.2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where violations of the health protection regulations can be reported. The tenders are taken over by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified aspects ”, says GCS.

As for the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 6,875 Romanian citizens were confirmed infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,935 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 167 in the United Kingdom, 36 in Hungary, 28 in Holland, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the USA, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 10 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates, 11 in the Republic of Moldova and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of Congo, Qatar , Vatican, Portugal and Egypt.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of the Congo and one in Greece have died.

Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
