Luisa Ortega Díaz, Attorney General of the Republic in Exile, filed a complaint before the International Criminal Court (ICC) on the death of Fernando Albán, municipal councilor of the Libertador municipality, and the testimony of Supreme Court Judge Christian Zerpa.
The prosecutor also indicated that the testimonies of Chacao police officers were delivered. "They explained their illegal detentions and the torture they were subjected to," he said in a video posted on his Twitter account.
"We are working for the ICC to act against Nicolás Maduro and his clique, the international community understands that he is not president of Venezuela, so he can be investigated, tried and captured without hindrance, and I will not rest until I reach him," he said.
#video I'm at Aia delivering to @IntlCrimCourt the denunciation for the murder of Fernando Albán and the testimony of magistrate Christian Zerpa who shows that there is no justice in the country. Maduro will soon pay for his crimes. We're fine #Venezuela! pic.twitter.com/kSAX9Ny8Av
