the president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro met this Friday with ambassadors and corporate executives of the European Union (EU) to address various issues.

"I held a productive meeting with the ambassadors of the European Union. We discuss topics of common interest and open channels of dialogue and understanding, in the ambit of respect and the self-determination of the peoples", expressed the president through the social network Twitter.
The meeting took place in the Miraflores Palace where the President spoke to the EU ambassador, Isabel Brilhante, and ambassadors from other countries like France, Spain, Hellenic Republic, Italy, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Poland, Romania, Portugal and Germany.
The European delegation was received by the chancellor of the Republic, Jorge Arreaza, before his meeting with the head of state.
