The IKBY health institute announced that, following tests carried out in the biological laboratory of the Asa hospital in the city of Süleymaniye, the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) virus was found and the virus has spread.
In the statement released by the institution, it was stated that the test results of some patients who showed signs of a new type of corona virus (COVID-19) in Süleymaniye were positive, and it was pointed out that the patients in question were not COVID -19 but SARS patients.
MINISTRY OF HEALTH: SARS DOES NOT SPREAD
Making a statement on the matter, the Ministry of Health announced that the SARS virus has not spread to the city of Sulaymaniyah and research will be conducted on the matter.
In a written statement released by the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Aso Havizi, it was pointed out that the claim made by the Asa hospital that the SARS virus has spread in the city was not based on any scientific basis and there were no evidence that the virus had spread. İHA
