New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said on Sunday that his state could pursue a court case against the Trump administration after the U.S. president threatened to leave New York out of the future Covid-19 vaccine.
“I can tell you, if the Trump administration doesn’t change this plan and move forward with developing a fair process for vaccine distribution, we will strengthen our legal rights. We are about to file a lawsuit to protect New Yorkers, ”the governor told the New York Post.
“I will not allow myself to be bullied or abused,” said the Democratic governor.
In a statement that was seen by experts as having political leanings, Trump said he would not send vaccines to New York State after Cuomo said he has his own independent panel.
