Indepaz himself denounced that to date 303 people have been killed in 76 massacres, being the Antioquia region where the largest number of 18 have occurred, followed by Cauca with 12, Nariño 9 and Norte de Santander with 6 massacres. .
Hours earlier, the National Army confirmed that five people lost their lives and two more were injured in the midst of a new massacre in the village of El Mango, a rural area of the municipality of Argelia, in southern Cauca.
Brigadier General Marco Vinicio Mayorga Niño, commander of the Third Division, stressed that the violent events took place in a nightclub, where a crossfire occurred in the middle of a case under investigation.
