Once again, people around the Trump administration are attracting media attention with confused theories about alleged election fraud. This time at a hearing in Lansing, Michigan this Wednesday.
But at this hearing, theories are not the only topic of discussion. Why: While Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani (76) speaks, the farts can be heard over and over again. In the heat of the battle of words, you hear not one, but two farts. This became known after HuffPost reporter Ryan Reilly posted a video on Twitter. However, it’s unclear whether the farts that can be heard are real.
Two farts in no time
As «Buzzfeed News» writes, the first fart escapes while Rudy Giuliani answers a question from Darrin Camilleri (28), representative of the state of Michigan. This asks him a question about the “New York Times” story, according to which Giuliani is putting pressure on President Donald Trump (74) for a preventive pardon. Giuliani then vehemently opposes what he believed to be a defamatory question from Camilleri.
Shortly after, however, the second embarrassing situation: the gas escapes again, but this time much louder than before. At that moment, Giuliani is again targeted by Camilleri: Giuliani is invited to respond to the testimony of Attorney General Bill Barr, 70 – who says that federal prosecutors have found no evidence of electoral fraud.
Racist hearing
Giuliani is not troubled by Barr’s accusation, but continues to turn his theories: “The answer I gave you was that you didn’t bother questioning a single witness.” During the speech the farts were repeatedly accompanied by the disgusted looks of the lawyer Jenna Ellis next to Giuliani.
At the hearing, alleged witnesses were listed who made wildly conspiratorial statements and were sometimes extremely racist. Giuliani had not taken the oath before the hearing began, so he was under no obligation to tell the truth. His efforts at that hearing were aimed at convincing state lawmakers to essentially ignore the voters’ decision.
Crazy theories and embarrassing speeches
Again and again, Trump supporters’ lectures and hearings cause laughter. Incidentally, drunk key witness Mellissa Carone. This made such an embarrassing speech that even Giuliani, who otherwise does not stop at any provocation, got stuck in his throat. Among other things, he stammered that he had lost his job to the Democrats: he could not or did not want to provide exact reasons.
