LIVE | New measures of the state of emergency are already known

The prime minister spoke to the country this Saturday evening to announce the new measures of the state of emergency, which will start on Monday. Among these measures there is, for example, the mandatory curfew during the night and during part of the next two weekends in the municipalities most at risk. On the same day, Portugal recorded another 56 deaths from covid-19, increasing the total number of deaths to 2,848 since the start of the pandemic. According to the DGS bulletin, 6,640 new cases have also been diagnosed in the last 24 hours, a new daily high. The country therefore records an accumulated total of 173,540 infected.
