US President Donald Trump wrote a message on Twitter suggesting possible election fraud after starting to lose significant percentages in key states that could decide the fate of the presidential election. However, shortly after the message was published, the social network hid it because “it could be misleading”.
Trump posted a new message, but was also hidden from the social network, under the same accusation.
“Last night I was in charge, I had a solid lead in many key states, in almost all cases in Democratic-controlled states. Then, one by one, they began to magically disappear as the votes were counted. Very strange. And the “pollsters” were completely and historically wrong! “wrote Donald Trump on Twitter.
In another message, the president of the United States states that since votes are counted by mail, the result is “devastating”.
“How come, whenever votes are counted in the mail, they are so devastating in percentage and power of destruction?” Trump wrote.
Joe Biden overtook Donald Trump in Michigan, a key state for both campaigns and leading to a 0.1% difference, but a significant number of votes in the city’s urban areas need to be counted in the next few hours.
In Wisconsin, Joe Biden again increased his lead and 0.6% after the initial partial results showed a big difference. If Biden wins Wisconsin and Michigan and keeps his advantage in Nevada and Arizona, he doesn’t need another state to win, with those states securing exactly 270 Electoral College votes. Donald Trump, on the other hand, must keep his score in Georgia and North Carolina and win Michigan and Pennsylvania to win, if Biden retains control over Wisconsin, Nevada and Arizona.
