Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden: We are on track to reach 300 delegates

Democratic candidate in the US presidential race, Joe Biden, said the counted votes show they will win the election and said: “We are about to reach 300 delegates.”

While the US is stuck in the presidential election whose results have not yet been finalized, Democratic candidate Joe Biden has released a new statement in the state of Delaware with vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

Claiming to have received the most votes with 74 million in US history, Biden said he would be the first Democratic candidate to win the state of Arizona in the past 24 years and Georgia in the past 28 years.

Explaining that the votes counted show they will win this race, Biden said: “We are about to reach 300 delegates.”

Claiming that the American people have given him the power to fight the new type of coronavirus epidemic (Kovid-19), the economy, climate change and systematic racism, Biden asked his supporters to stay calm.

Biden said, “Democracy works. Your votes will be counted. Even if they try to stop the vote count, I will not allow that to happen.”

In the states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada and Alaska, which account for a total of 71 elected delegates, the election results are still unclear. Trump leads the race in North Carolina and Alaska, while in Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona and Georgia, Biden is closer to taking the lead.

According to interim results in states where the vote count has been completed, former Vice President Joe Biden, Democratic Party candidate, won 253 elected delegates, and President Donald Trump, Republican Party candidate, has 214 elected delegates.

The candidate who has obtained the majority of votes in a state wins as many elective delegates as he has, depending on the size of that state’s population; a candidate must reach 270 selective delegates to win the presidential race.
