A delegation from the Assembly of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) made a “support” visit to the French Consulate General in Arbil, where the Islamic world reacted because of its anti-Islamic statements. According to AA reports, Havrami, who released a statement to the press after the visit, sent out a message of support for France, where the entire Islamic world reacted because of its anti-Islamic statements. In his statement, Havrami said: “Our visit took place to once again express our thanks to the French people and the government, to express our support for the French government and to show our determination to maintain our mutual relations. .

Indicating that the official position of the Assembly of the KRG is represented by the Chairmanship of the Assembly and the Assembly, Havrami argued that they will continue to support France and that France will continue to support the KRG. Havrami said: “We condemn any discriminatory statements that target our culture of coexistence and tolerance.”

The French Representation of the KRG had canceled the message of support for France, to which the Islamic world reacted due to its anti-Islamic statements, following the reactions of social media. The message of support for the Prophet Muhammad and the French for insulting Muslims was met with a reaction on social media by many Iraqi Kurds. The share in question was removed after reactions. 25 deputies from different KRG parties issued a statement condemning the anti-Islam statements of French President Emmanuel Macron. The declaration signed by the deputies was handed over to the French consulate in Erbil. The declaration states that the French authorities should support coexistence, respect the sacred values of peoples and not hurt the feelings of other religions.
In the French cities of Montpellier and Toulouse, in the Conflans-Sainte-Honorine district near Paris, insulting cartoons from the French humor magazine Charlie Hebdo were projected on the walls of the official buildings to “commemorate” the teacher who was beheaded on October 16, in the district of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine near Paris.
In his statement, Macron had said that they would not stop publishing cartoons for Prophet Muhammad.
