President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Communications, regional developments, in particular relations between Nagorno-Karabakh and Turkey-Russia, were discussed during the meeting.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that Armenia should withdraw from the occupied Azerbaijani territories and stated that Azerbaijan’s counter-operation was limited to its own territory.
Expressing that the Armenian administration should be persuaded to sit at the negotiating table with good judgment, President Erdoğan stressed that it is of paramount importance to end this conflict with a permanent solution and stabilize the region.
