An attacker who wounded many people with a knife in the Arndtstrasse area of the city of Oberhausen in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany’s most populous state, was captured by the police.
According to local WAZ media reports, those injured in the attack were treated in the intensive care unit of the hospital where they were hospitalized. It has been alleged that the police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
It is not yet known whether the attack was a terrorist attack or the number of injured.
