The blood of the Azerbaijani martyrs, martyrs of Khojaly will not remain on the ground. We will take our revenge on the battlefield, we take it. IMPORTANCE OF SHUSA
Shusha was occupied by Armenia on May 8, 1992.
Founded by the Karabakh khan Penahali khan in 1752, Shusha is an important city not only for Shusans but also for all Azeris, as it has many historical monuments and many distinguished scientists and cultural figures were born here.
Besides being a city that is one of the symbols of Azerbaijani history and culture, Shusha is also of strategic importance due to its dominant geographical position in the region and being located on the road to Khankendi, the largest city in Nagorno-Karabakh.
In the operation that began in Nagorno-Karabakh on 27 September, the Azerbaijani army freed 4 urban centers, 3 cities and about 220 villages and some important hills from the occupation of Armenia.
