The president of the United States, Joe Biden, surpassed, on Wednesday, the five million votes advantage over Donald Trump’s exit, totaling 77.4 million ballots.

According to the most recent tally, it is confirmed that Joe Biden has become the most voted presidential candidate in the history of the elections in the United States, with 77.4 million votes, compared to 72.3 million obtained by Republican Donald Trump.

At Electoral College, Joe Biden has 290 votes and Donald Trump 217.

The Electoral College is made up of 538 members elected by states based on their population. The winning candidate in each state, even if with only one vote, guarantees all representatives, except Nebraska and Maine, and whoever guarantees 270 of them wins the election.

Joe Biden has already won enough electoral votes to be elected as the next president of the United States, but Donald Trump, who was seeking re-election, accuses the Democrats of “stealing the elections” and denounced, without providing evidence, the existence of “electoral fraud”, having presented several complaints in court.

Meanwhile, Georgia’s election services today announced a review of the results in that state, which will trigger a new vote count.

Georgian Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said today that his cabinet wants the full recount process to begin by the end of the week and finish by November 20.

After certifying the results of the manual count, which is ending, the Republican Party can then ask for another recount, which will be done by the machines, Raffensperger explained.
