Brazil has the second highest number of coronavirus deaths in the world, and Bolsonaro was also infected in July.
“I won’t. (Vaccine – no). It’s my right,” he said.
Bolsonaro also expressed skepticism about the effectiveness of wearing masks.
The president has repeatedly said Brazilians will not be forced to be vaccinated when a vaccine becomes widely available. In October, he even joked on Twitter that the vaccination would only be needed for his dog.
