The Italian prime minister has signed a decree establishing quarantine across the country starting Thursday.

High schools will have to switch to distance learning and museums will be closed.
Shopping centers will also be closed on weekends or public holidays and public transport will not be able to accept more than 50% of the total passenger capacity.
From this date, cruises are also canceled, with the exception of those already in progress.
The Ministry of Health will decide on the classification of the regions and on their possible color change on the basis of about twenty factors, including the rate of transmission or occupancy of beds in hospitals or intensive care units.
