It has been determined that the fire that took place 30 years ago in the home of a Turkish family in the city of Kempten in the German state of Bavaria, which killed a five-year-old boy and injured his two brothers, was arson by of racists.

According to reports from the newspapers “Zeit Online” and “Tagesspiegel”, a prosecutor who mixed the files at the request of the files relating to the fire that broke out on November 17, 1990 found a confession letter written by racist neo-Nazis indicating that the accident was arson.

THE FILE IS REOPENED

In the swastika letter, it was stated that “the very successful attack is only the beginning, Kemnpten will not stop until they are freed of all non-German creatures”.

The letter also said: “Kempten will be the first city not to be disturbed by homosexual, left, foreign and other pigs.”

Subsequently, the Munich Public Prosecutor’s Office reopened the file and launched an investigation.

As part of the investigation, it was alleged that the letter containing the racists’ confessions was ignored by the police.

The investigation was initiated after the fire was closed 1.5 years after the accident and was recorded as a “fire of unknown cause”.

As part of the investigations launched after the incident, the police and prosecution did not inform the Turkish family.
