It could be a way out of the chaos of Brexit
Theresa May's Brexit plan has failed as does the Labor party's vote of no confidence. It does not cancel anything. Now the Parliament could take the situation in hand.
The United Kingdom saw a moment of rare harmony Tuesday evening. Both supporters and opponents of leaving the European Union rejoiced at the parliament in Westminster. The warring factions were satisfied with the clear notion of Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit plan, for several reasons.
One side wants the total break with the EU, it costs him what he wants. The contract negotiated from May to Brussels is diabolical for her. In turn, supporters of the EU hope to reverse the referendum of June 2016. This irreconcilable opposition is an important, if not the only, reason for the chaos of Brexit.
The Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn has had for the worst parliamentary defeat of a government from eternal times, no choice but to present the announced motion of no confidence. Already on Tuesday it became obvious that he would fail. May conservatives may disagree with Brexit, but new elections would only have increased chaos.
Mays missed the strategy
The head of government can continue for now. Just ask, how. "Parliament has decided only what it does not want and not what it wants," said Theresa May after the vote and rightly so. You are the main culprit of the debacle. The 62-year-old is now facing the ruins of a failed strategy from the start.
After the 2016 vote, the lukewarm supporter of the EU has become a fiery supporter of Brexit from one day to the next. He trapped the victorious Leave followers and gave the Rimani field a cold shoulder. With slogans like "No deal is better than a bad deal", he called on the intransigent Tory to shut down their EU treaty.
Now he must submit a plan B by next Monday. The House of Commons has forced them to do so against their will, so that May can not waste time. Now he wants to make up for lost time and meet with Labor MPs on Thursday to find out how they can get their support. Because their employees have pointed out Tuesday, according to Politico, that plan B will not be much different from the failed business.
Brexit divides Great Britain
In the unlikely event that a compromise with the opposition is found, Theresa May will present her in Brussels. The head of EU negotiator Michel Barnier declared himself open to new talks on Wednesday: "An orderly exit will remain our top priority in the coming weeks". Checks on the border with the Republic of Ireland should be avoided.
Ireland is going through
The EU can not offer the British more excited about this point than their faithful member, Ireland. The Dublin government wants to keep the border with Northern Ireland open. She fears for the peace process in the northern part of the island. Therefore, it rejects a time limit of the so-called backstop and its unilateral resolution by London.
Without these concessions, Theresa May will continue to struggle to get the majority in the lower house for a plan B. If this also fails, the situation has completely disappeared a few weeks before departure on 29 March. It can not be ruled out that in this case May jumps over her shadow and requires an extension of time in Brussels.
No exit without a contract
The EU would be willing to. At the beginning of July, it would not be a problem in view of the European elections, in which the English should no longer participate. However, if three additional months provide a viable solution it seems more than questionable. This is why another exit is needed: Parliament takes the Brexit case into its own hands.

It would be a middle revolution for the British system, but what is normal in these times? Even in this way it would not be easy. In addition to the no-Brexit May operation, there is a clear majority only for one other option: avoiding an exit without a contract that is detrimental to the economy. About how the ghosts differ.
The Labor leader is skeptical
A "soft" Brexit in the form of EEA membership would have many disadvantages. The British should maintain the free movement of people. This is considered as Theresa May only a real red line, because the displeasure of the strong immigration of EU citizens was the main reason of the Yes to Brexit. It remains as the only alternative actually only a second grade.
Behind the scenes, members of the government and opposition to the European "rebel" Tory Dominic Grieve are already working on it. Jeremy Corbyn is skeptical, and not just for his EU-critical convictions. The members of his party are predominantly pro-European, but most of the boards of trade unions have approved Brexit in 2016.

After the failure of his request for no confidence, the Labor leader could still turn to a second referendum. It would be the best of all the bad solutions. The British could decide again with full awareness of the consequences. If it remains at Brexit, Parliament should give way. Otherwise, the Kingdom would remain in the European Union.
In both cases, the mood in one of the camps that cheered Tuesday would turn into disappointment with rage. But nobody could say that they did not know what they were going to finish. You have to dose the soup in which you entered.
