In a new statement, the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) excludes international flights other than the Dominican Republic, Iran, Turkey, Mexico and Panama between 11 November and 11 February 2021.
The National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (Inac) published a new press release on Wednesday afternoon 11-N in which it lists Panama among the international destinations that Venezuelans will enjoy, who will also have among their options the Dominican Republic, Iran, Turkey and the Mexico.
The document adds that the rest of the international destinations, apart from those five destinations, are suspended between 11 November and 11 February 2021.
The measure applies to the airports of Maiquetía, Maracaibo, Porlamar, Barcelona, Barquisimeto, Valencia, Punto Fijo, San Antonio del Táchira, Santo Domingo, Puerto Ordaz, Maturín and Caracas.
On November 2, Venezuela lifted the restriction on international flights after 8 months, as part of the measures against covid-19.
In last week’s statement it was announced that, as a preventive measure against the SARS-COV-2 coronavirus, passengers of these operations “will have to comply with the collective social quarantine under strict control of the state, as well as undergo the corresponding medical assessments.”
What remains undefined are the operations of internal flights suspended since March.
