Electoral row of the DRC
The outcome of the presidential elections of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) was the subject of an examination, with the candidate of the opposition Martin Fayulu who denounced the fraud and asked for a recount. The electoral commission of the DRC has awarded the victory to the rival of the opposition of Fayulu, Felix Tshisekedi, raising the concerns of France, Belgium, United States and United Kingdom. Even the Catholic Church in the DRC has contested the results, stating that they are inconsistent with the information gathered by the observers who sided to monitor the elections.

In this segment we will talk with Al Jazeera correspondent Haru Mutasa to undo the controversy and get the latest news.

#LAUSDStrike
The unified school district of Los Angeles in California is on strike, affecting hundreds of thousands of students and at least 30,000 teachers. Requests include an increase in salary, smaller class classes and more support staff – similar requests to those teachers made 29 years ago during the last strike.

Most of the affected students come from minority communities and many of the guilty teachers worked without a contract due to stalled negotiations. The strike is the latest in a series of teacher protests in the United States.

In this segment we will discuss the strike with one of the teachers who requires better working conditions.

March of the natives
Indigenous groups around the world will meet in Washington DC on Friday for the first annual March of indigenous peoples. The demonstrators hope that the march will help to raise citizens' awareness of issues affecting their communities, from kidnapping children in Canada to protecting indigenous lands around the world.

In this segment, we will explore the purpose of the march and we will talk again with the First Nations activist Maggie Cywink, whose sister is among Canada's missing and murdered indigenous women, to learn the latest news.
