Lina was diagnosed with Covid-19 on November 5th and felt fine at first. Her condition suddenly worsened and one day the woman collapsed and died. Overwhelmed with grief, her husband stayed by her side for several hours and became infected.
“Dante never abandoned his wife, not even when he died, he always watched over her”, a relative said.
According to Il Messagero, the man was standing next to the woman’s body during the wake, not respecting the rules of distance. Subsequently, Dante was found positive, he died on Saturday, nine days after his wife, who was buried on November 6.
