The coalition broke after just under four years
For almost four years, Tsipras, as the party's left-wing leader, with his unjust coalition partner, the independent Greek, had implemented the austerity and reform programs that Europe, especially the donor countries, had asked . Majority expected for the compromise of Macedonia
From a European point of view, the role of Greek opposition remains interesting and sometimes extremely sensitive. The head of the conservative Nea Demokratia, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, is miles away from Christian Democrats like Chancellor Merkel – because she never wants to recognize Macedonia with a new name and refuses the contract with Skopje, where the name "Republic" was agreed of Northern Macedonia ". Aloud and aggressive was the countertendency of the conservative opposition leader Mitsotakis in the Greek parliament in the evening. Important laws, such as the increase in the minimum wage that has been greatly reduced in recent years, are pending, and in the coming days the final vote on the issue will give way to excitement: the Treaty of the Republic of Macedonia of the North.
