Because of the noise and fire, the plane had to make an emergency landing at Manchester Airport.
Graham Ecclestone, one of the passengers on the plane, made the following statement on his Facebook account: We got up first. Ten minutes later, we had an emergency landing in Manchester. There was a small fire in the back of the plane. Firefighters intervene.
The airport spokesman confirmed the incident and informed him that the firefighters were on the spot.
Flight Alert, the website that published the air traffic control report, stated that the aircraft was landing due to the sound of the explosion.
All air passengers have been evacuated.
What has caused the technical malfunction of the aircraft has not yet been clarified.
